Luke 11:1-13

This Sunday we will begin a summer preaching series on the parables of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke. As Jesus traveled from Galilee to Jerusalem on his way to the cross, he told parables to the people he encountered along the journey in order to bring them to a deeper understanding of God's kingdom. As Jesus said to his disciples "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables..." (Luke 8:10).
